Saal Digital Photo Booklet Freebie
We recently signed up for another Saal Digital freebie as we know our users love to see the freebies we get from time to time.
We got our free booklet from the Saal company in under a week, the entire process was fantastic, creating the booklet was easy and so was the delivery.
The booklet itself was made of top quality materials and its something we will treasure from now until the future.
We would like to thank the people at Saal Digital for promoting this freebie and really hope some of our users were lucky enough to get one too, if thats the case do show us and will put some photos up.

Saal Digital Free Wall Decors
Saal Digital (http://www.saal-digital.co.uk/) recently created another fine freebie offer where they gave £50 off Wall Decors, we promoted it to our users and we also made the most of it ourselves.
This turned out to be one of the finest freebies we have ever received and one of our recent wedding that we will cherish for the years to come.
The whole process was fantastic, creating the order was simple, it took just a few minutes, paying with the voucher was easy and we paid nothing for it to come here all the way from Germany.
We could track the process really easily and on top of that even the postage tracking was superb.
Overall we were extremely happy with the product and extremely happy with the service, this is certainly a site we would recommend and will go back to again in the future.
Saal Digital Free Album Review
We recently received our free Wedding album from Saal Digital and we are absolutely over the moon with it, so much so we wanted to write a blog post about it.
We ordered this album months ago but only recently got it due to being abroad but the entire process was completely flawless.
Our order was placed on the http://www.saal-digital.co.uk/ website, the software was extremely easy to use and it was actually fun creating our free wedding album.
We did however encounter one error which we think could have been changed which was the front and back cover were not clearly labelled or in a logical order, therefore our cover became our backcover which was a slight disappointment and maybe needs attention paid to it from the Saal Digital point of view.
The images are of amazing quality, they have a matte finish and look extremely professional, I would most definitely go back and use them again if I was to order any photo related products.
One of the greatest things about the entire process was the tracking, we could see where the album was on a daily basis coming all the way from Germany to the UK in a matter of days, simply amazing especially as the postage was included in the price as we had a £40 voucher.
I would certainly recommend our users to give the Saal Digital website a chance when it comes to printing needs.
Tips on how to be a super savvy student!!!
So it is time for many students to start or go back to University! How I am jealous of them, going to their student accommodation, student nights and one of those free student bags with a pot noodle. Come on, own up, you must have got one???!!!
Okay, so my latest blog is about how to survive as a student but we can ALL do the same thing whether we work or not. I will add other work arounds that us non-students can do to get the same discounts, benefits and freebies.
I think I will talk about a couple of ways to save money, as this is only my second blog …I don’t wanna overdo it now do I? ha ha
Text Books:
I recommend not buying any text books straight away, find out if any one is selling them cheaper (check out prices) or the cheapest way has to be go to the library. You just need to be clever and work out when you should book it as others may request if back off you if you renewed it a lot. Check out the rules of using the uni library. Let’s hope they have many copies of that book!! Check online if anyone is selling their used books…do check which edition it is…so you don’t miss out on any new additional info added in the latest addition!
Student Discounts:
There are so many ways to save money when shopping or eating out. Make sure you do get the NUS Card and the UNiDAYS card every year. These cards give you many discounts in restaurants and stores.
For example, UNiDAYS will give you 20% off at New Look stores, 10% off at Schuh, 25% off MyProtein and more.
The NUS card gives 25% off Odeon cinema tickets, up to 40% off at Zizzi’s, and no joining fee with The GYM…the list goes on.
Okay, if you are not a uni student, which I am no longer after many years…but there is a way you can apply for an NUS Card which would cost about £12 for a year. What I did was apply for an online course in Photography, they emailed me and said I could apply for an NUS card so I have now renewed it for the second year!! If you can find the free online courses at Shaw Academy. https://www.gratisfaction.co.uk/cooking/free-online-cooking-course/
Loyalty Cards and apps:
Loyalty cards are a great way of saving money if you regularly visit the same stores. So if you shop in Tesco or Sainsbury’s sign up for their points cards, making sure you swipe it when paying. So many stores like Paperchase, Subway, Boots etc have loyalty cards, I recommend looking out for special events like double or triple points so you fast track your way to more points! If you have an NUS card, you also get student discounts at places like Paperchase and Superdrug. So flash your card at all times!
My favourite loyalty cards are ones from coffee shops, where they stamp the card every time you buy something. If you are lucky they might stamp more than once on one spend…result! Fast track your way to a free drink. Remember to look at discarded McDonalds coffee cups, they have a little sticker on, which you peel off and collect to claim a free hot drink.
If you don’t want to carry lots of Loyalty cards around, there are apps which work the same way, for example, Subway have an app where you can view offers, so much more handy to keep on top of offers like double points. Nando’s is another great app, which you use every time you order and pay for a meal there, and collect chillies to have free dishes including a whole chicken! Now that’s what I call a cheeky Nando’s!!!
As part of collecting loyalty points, there is a way of gaining points without having to spend money or very little cost! How? Well, there is a method called ‘Wombling’, this is when you pick up receipts from the floor, self service checkouts, or from trolleys. If the receipt has no loyalty card showing on it, usually at the bottom, then you could take the receipt to the customer services at the relevant store like Tesco who can add the points to your card. I recommend that you don’t say you found the receipt, but that you forgot your card last time. My boyfriend wombles a lot, to gain points, so it works! I was recently introduced to an app called ‘Receipt Hog’ where you scan receipts from shops, restaurants and supermarkets to it to gain ‘coins’. It can give you chance to ‘spin’ and win more coins. Once you have amalgamated enough coins, you can cash them out for Amazon vouchers or get it paid into your PayPal account. You can use those ‘wombled’ receipts here as you don’t verify your purchases likes some cash back apps. If you want to give it ago…use promo code ‘nift1188’ to get some free spins!
Mailing Lists:
This is where you sign up to get either emails or information through the post. Why? Well, nearly all companies, restaurants and bars have a mailing list, to which they send out offers and vouchers for discounted meals or free drinks. Why not set up a separate email account just for signing up to mailing lists. Places like Pizza Express, Bella Italia, Paperchase and Superdrug email out vouchers and offers, so always check their emails before going in. By planning your visits, you can save yourself money, by ensuring you have a voucher that maybe 30-50% off! There are places like Ed’s Diner who send out vouchers for you to use in the month of your birthday, and even now I have seen ‘Happy Half Birthday’ vouchers for 6 months after your birthday!!!
This also applies to following FaceBook or Twitter pages as they do upload offers there too. As a freebie hunter, I have found things like skincare samples using social media. Therefore, you can save yourself money on toiletries, by applying for samples or showing a voucher at a Boots counter. Why have Tesco- own brand moisturiser when you could be trying one from Origins or Estee Lauder! Or you could gather lots of free samples up as gifts for your mum or favourite sister…that will save you some money for sure!!!
My #FreebiesofTheDay …
‘How do you get all these freebies?’ is a question I get asked a lot!!! So here I am to reveal some of my secrets…well, I will reveal more in my next blogs!!!
Over many years, I used to pick up samples of perfumes from department stores like House of Fraser and Debenhams. When I walk past perfume counters, I look around and seek the perfume vials. If there is a perfume promotion, I will head over, chat about the fragrance BUT instead of accepting a spray of scent on my wrist or on a card, I ask if they have a sample for me to take home and try later… 9 times out of 10, they hand one sample vial over!!! RESULT!!!! So be brave and give it a go!!
I do purchase things, don’t get me wrong… but my routine is to buy things like skin care when they have ‘gift with purchase’ or there is a discount and I will ask for samples so I am not short changed lol. I do like promotions like ‘3 for 2’ items in Boots or when they have double or best would be triple points in stores like Tesco and Boots!!! Come on, own up…you must do the same????
Now with the internet, it has been so much easier in getting freebies, by joining mailing lists for skincare, perfume, and products I like… that I get things sent to me. Sometimes, the mailing card sent, will mean I have to go and collect the freebie from specific stores and now that I work in Birmingham, it is so much easier to get the items! I love the achievement of getting something per day. Yes, sadly, I am a freebie hunting addict!!! Please tell me if there is a cure!!!!
So what else helps me out, well finding websites like www.Gratisfaction.co.uk are a great way to start if you are wanting to hunt for freebies. Sites like Gratisfaction provide links to websites that are offering free stuff or vouchers etc.
My first tip is to be quick and apply as soon as you see the post. Why? Well, the freebie might well be shared on other websites, and there are so many freebie UK hunters now, that many sites run out really quickly!!!
Second tip would be to have more than one email address so that you can apply for freebies, sometimes if you have applied for an item before, they may not let you apply again. You are best to also have accounts with FaceBook, Instagram and Twitter as I have experienced many giveaways using social media. Remember with social media like FaceBook is to have friends, awwww, no it is important you have a group of like minded friends who will send you freebies…some offers that use ‘Sopost’, make you send a freebie to your mate, and they can then send you one back! Yeah so don’t pick the person that never logs into FaceBook, or the person that works night shift and won’t be online for another 12 hours!!
Just to show you what you can achieve in one day, this is what I collected on 19 July 2016.
The bottle of water was being handed out at Birmingham New Street train station, it is a great place for free stuff giveaways! I did pick up a free coffee too from Caffe Nero using the O2 Priority Moments app…remember you can ask for a large hot drink AND get your loyalty card stamped for that order!
I picked up the Drops of Youth samples from two different Body Shop stores and both gave me extra samples!
There is an offer where you take an old eyebrow product (really had to rummage to find a brow pencil) which you can swap for any of the deluxe sized Benefits brow products at John Lewis.
Lastly, I visited Kiehls and asked for a consultation, and came out with five samples!! FREE with NO purchase! I did tell the assistant, I was starting a blog and she told me they have blogging events where bloggers got asked to attend an evening trying out Kiehls products! Hopefully, my name will be on the next blogging event!!!!
Okay, that’s it for now, please return for my next instalment! Please do comment below with your freebie achievements, or hints and tips as I would love to hear all your stories.
Have a great freebie hunting week!! Ling xxx
How to claim free stuff online
We get thousands of questions throughout the year from users asking us how they can claim a certain product for free so we figured it’s time we write a guide on how you actually claim free stuff online.
We update Gratisfaction UK on a daily basis so of course the first port of call is here, we suggest you take the following steps to make finding us easier.
1. Bookmark our website for future reference, that way you will never misspell our URL and always have quick and easy access to the latest free stuff.
2. With most people being on social media be sure to follow us there, all offers are posted to Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest which are all fantastic places for users to interact and talk freebies with one another.
When it comes to actually applying for freebies on our website we have tried to make it as clear as possible, we post the links, you click them and then you follow the instructions which normally leads to you clicking the GET FREEBIE button and visiting the page that is hosting the giveaway and free samples.
Once you have left our site to try and claim free stuff online its normally pretty straight forward, scroll around the page you have been sent to and look for the place to enter. Most websites require your name, email address, postal address and then occasionally a few more questions about you or the product you are after.
Never give your home phone number as there is always the possibility of nuisance calls, we suggest giving a mobile number so you can easily block or reject any calls you do not recognise. On top of this we suggest that every member that uses our website has an email specifically for freebies and competitions, the nature of claiming free samples results in many unwanted emails so by having an email for just freebies you can ignore most of them, although make sure you skim over them in case you have won the competition you entered.
Patience and persistence is key. We get many people stating their freebie has not arrived yet they are expecting it to be there after just a week or two when the fact is most UK freebies take at least a month to get from point A to B. If you still don’t have your products after a few months then we highly suggest you take this up with the company that you tried claiming the freebie from, remember we are just the middle man!
Not all freebies will be claimed. Of course not one single user on the Gratisfaction UK website has had every single freebie they have applied for turn up and the reason for this is most of the free samples and giveaways are capped at a certain limit. For example many of the freebies we post we state are limited to the first 10,000 people and with so many freebie hunters out there these can go quick!
We suggest you keep on applying on a daily basis for any freebie that appeals to you, by doing so you will increase the chances of the postman bringing you a little something from time to time. We have personally received hundreds of free samples in the post over the 2 years of Gratisfaction UK going live and that is through sheer persistence of applying for every single freebie we post.
We hope this Gratisfaction UK blog post has cleared a few things up for our readers and can be used as a guide of what to expect when trying to claim free stuff online.

Gratisfaction UK Survey: How families are reducing their shopping bills by up to 50%
- Shop at Approved Food
- Get FREE delivery when you buy 4 eligible items at Amazon Pantry
- Shop around and try not to be seduced by loyalty schemes
- Make lists before you set off to the shops
- Timing your visit to the Supermarket
- Shop local and seasonal
- Make meals from scratch and reduce the amount of processed foods you buy.
We asked our users to give us some ideas on how they are saving money on their food shop. We’ve put together some of these top Spring tips to help bring down that burgeoning food shopping budget.
First up thrifty Gratisfaction UK fan Sandra Peacock has more than halved her online shopping bill by switching from Tesco to Approved Food. Sandra was a regular online shopper at Tesco until she saw Approved Food featured on Gratisfaction UK. The online grocery retailer claims that you can save 70% on your shopping by purchasing short-dated branded products.
“I tend to shop online once every couple of weeks for the bulky and heavier items. I gave Approved Food a try because my family shopping bill was growing every month. I was surprised by how much I could save by buying short-dated food AND how much cheaper almost all items were.”
Cutting down on cost without cutting down on quality
For general cupboard snacks and brand favourites, Approved Food can save you a lot of money and there’s no harm in eating most products close to their ‘best-before’ date. As these NHS guidelines state best before dates are about quality not safety and Approved Food prides itself on excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Using new online grocery services and voucher codes
Another way to cut down on shopping expenses is to avoid making frequent trips to the supermarket and thus avoid those impulse purchases. Online retailers are continuing to plug this gap with many new services coming online in recent weeks.
Even online giant Amazon have dipped their toes into the grocery sector. They’ve just struck a deal with high street supermarket Morrisons – which later this year will see a whole new range of products available through Amazon. Feedback from Gratisfaction members suggests that one popular way to currently grab Amazon Pantry items is through the FREE delivery promotion.
Featured Freebie: Fabreze Fabric Refresher
One of our most popular current freebies is the new Febreze Fabric Refresher
There’s nothing worse than doing a big wash only to have the next load stack up as soon as you’ve opened the washing machine door now is there? Well the clever people at Febreze may well have come up with the perfect solution to revitalizing your fabrics after they’ve had a couple of wears with their new range of Fabric Refresher.
Available in a range of odours including Tide Original scent, Happy Spring and Vanilla & Cream, Febreze Fabric Refresher can rejuvenate your ‘hard to wash’ fabrics like sofa upholstery and carpets. Febreze recommend that a light misting from their nozzled spray bottles once per week, can make your home smell fresher without the need to deep clean – and without having to change your usual cleaning regime.

Free Amazon Prime 30 day trial offers more value than ever!
Free Amazon Prime 30 day trials have been offered for some time now. However Amazon’s offering originally started out as simply a cost effective delivery service for Amazon junkies who spent a large proportion of their lives looking out for the postman! It’s a habit that is easy to fall into when you realise the extent of Amazon’s catalogue of offerings and the competitiveness of price. When you factor in the free Amazon Prime 30 day trial prices can seem so tempting as to never consider shopping elsewhere!
These days though Amazon has upped it’s game in terms of Prime with a whole raft of extra benefits for anyone who might want to give free Amazon Prime 30 Day trial a go. New customers to Prime will get access to:
Unlimited single day delivery on over nine million Amazon items – so this is practically everything in the catalogue!
Secure unlimited digital photo storage so you can have total piece of mind that your treasured photo collection will be preserved.
Unlimited instant streaming of over 15,000 films and TV Shows including many of the latest releases and some exclusive video content.
Access to thousands of Kindle Book titles absolutely free PLUS access to one of the 4 pre-release Kindle books each and every month.
So Amazon Prime weighs in at around £6.58 per month once your free Amazon Prime 30 Day trials ends so you would really only need to be placing two or three physical orders per month to be covering the normal postal charges. Another way of looking at it is that you might only need to make 14 orders for next day delivery per year to cover the cost of Prime and then effectively get all of the additional perks and access for FREE for the rest of the year.
Compared to the still excellent free trial at NOW TV Amazon Prime offers a much better value proposition for anyone who demands video on demand, together with free unlimited expedited deliveries. Combine that with the awesome Kindle lending service and the untouchable customer service and choice of ordering through Amazon and there’s no contest.
